8 oz of raw natural Shea butter
4 oz of raw coconut oil
1/2 cup of Aloe Vera gel
1 tbsp of jojoba oil
1 tbsp of Jamaican Black Castor Oil
This mix is one of my favorites to use on my hair for sealing in moisture, it also yields amazing twist outs. What's in your favorite DIY hair cream mix?

I made my own whipped shea butter concoction in 2011 while I was transitioning. I used shea butter, avocado oil, olive oil and coconut oil with a small amount of a random conditioner and I've used it for my bantu knots outs. They always come out super defined and my hair is always soft!
This looks yummy!~!~!!
I will have to try this. It looks really good.
like such king of texture! :)
I have got to try this. Especially since it incorporates Jamaican Black Castor Oil which my sister just gave me! It looks so rich and moisturizing.
Wow that looks AMAZING! I'm trying really hard not to become a mixtress again lol.
I definitely want to try this. It looks so fluffy, like your other products.
This regimen looks cool. I might have to try it also. Thanks for sharing.
It looks soooo amazing! Where did you purchase your raw Shea butter?
what exactly are the steps involved?? :-/
(or did I miss that somewhere??)
This looks yummy! Do you have to melt the Shea Butter or the Coconut Oil? Or do you mix it in it's present form to get the when mixed with the other ingredients? Shea Butter in it's solid form is a little hard??
Thanks!
