Let me start by saying the Elle of Quest for the Perfect Curl gets me in TROUBLE! The minute she reviewed this product I wanted it and the nice PR rep from Carol's Daughter sent me some when I went BEGGING to her via email... LOL. You can watch Elle's video HERE. Thanks Elle because this product is the TRUTH!
Moving on...
I was in awe when I first tried CD's Split End Sealer. I literally ripped opened the box, grabbed a few pieces of hair, smoothed the serum on my ends and OMG it looked like they were immediately "glued" together. Granted I got a trim not too long ago so my ends weren't that bad but it was still exciting to see the products capability. My first impression?-yes, this product lives up to it's name about being a sealant. I've been using the serum like lotion for a few days now and can already say that I am very much in love. My ends feel great and coil flawlessly. Normally I use my natural butters and oils for sealing but it was nice to try something a little different and longer lasting.
The ingredients in this product aren't TERRIBLE but they aren't all natural either... there are some goodies though like coconut oil, hibiscus extract and shea butter. Now, although I did not buy this item, it was sent to me for free, I will say that $25 is STEEP. Will I buy it on my own when I run out... probably. YES, it's that's great. However, I will be savoring this little 1.7oz of goodness for as long as I can. A little goes a long way but my hair is so thick that I'm not quite sure how long it'll really last. I've used this on wet and dry hair with no complaints. I will say that I do like the slip it gives my wet hair but I can't really "see" the ends sealing when my strands are wet; on dry hair it's easier to witness the magic.

I've been wanting to try this product. i was hoping to get a sample in my Birchbox, when I saw others were getting samples but my box was a little different. I'm looking forward to giving this a try ASAP! Your review was not the first where I've heard nothing but great comments. Looks like I'll be stopping by a Carol's Daughter store soon...
FYI HSN has it on sale for $19.90. Don't know how long it will stay at that price.
hmmm I probably would try this...I have tried other Carol's Daughter products in the past, and was pleased so I may pick this up and see how it works for me. Thank you for the review!
I have tried this product. I first purchased the Minoi oil line with shampoo, conditioner, and repairing moisturizer at the pop up store at the Essence Festival in New Orleans this summer. I was in love with it, before I was using L'oreal EverCreme and but after being introduced to this I was hooked! I quickly ran out of the trial size products and ordered the full sized shampoo and conditioner and received the split end sealer for free. It has really helped with keeping my ends soft, detangled and healthy. My hair is extremely soft yet coiled and after a long day (which I seem to have 6-7 days a week)My roots feel great but there are these teeny tiny little tangles at the ends that can ruin that uniform look or just make transitioning from one style to the next without a clod wash and complete brush through nearly impossible for "tender-headed" person like myself. This product hasn’t solved my tangle problem but it has done wonders for it, especially with my new favorite regimen of going from a twisted bun to a twisted puff to a banana clip of curls to a head band! (Makes the weekdays easier)
My ends stay uniform when styled but are not stiff or dry anymore. I love the whole line; this product is like the icing on the cake.
