Pixel Potions Review x Challenge

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of reviewing 2 products from Pixel Potions line! You all know that trying new goodies is my favorite thing to do so when the company reached out to me I was all for it. Pixel Potions sent me their leave in conditioner and nourishing nectar, both of which I enjoyed. So, let's jump right in...

The nectar that was sent to me  is a light oil mix that consists  Olive oil, Coconut oil, Sweet Almond oil, Castor oil, Lemongrass oil, Orange oil. It's not too greasy/heavy  and has a really pleasant smell. On the site it's described as a miracle oil.  It can be used in so many ways to seal in moisture and add incredible shine.  The light oil mixture can be used on wet or dry hair and it can also be mixed with your favorite shampoo, conditioner, leave-in or styling aide. If you are looking for a light weight oil that can also be used to seal, I would highly recommend trying this one. 

As I mentioned early, I also received their leave in. Leave-in conditioners are my favorite! Pixel Potions leave-in is awesome. It's lightweight and meant to be used on wet hair to help eliminate single strand knots.

The ingredients include: Purified Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearalkonium Chloride, Caprylic/Capryic  by Text-Enhance">Triglycerides, Castor Oil, DMDM Hydantion, Fragrance,Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Silk Protein

I used the products on my Marley twists and after my take down I was so surprised at how soft it left my hair a week later. I am definitely pleased with Pixel Potions new line!

Pixel’s Potions, a newly launched curly hair care line, has just announced that they will be hosting a 2013 Grow Out Challenge!!!

This Grow Out Challenge is different from most in a few ways. Firstly, Pixel herself, the owner of Pixel’s Potions is in the process of growing out her hair and will be participating in the challenge alongside the other participants! Next, everyone in the challenge will be required to update the group regularly with their growth process to promote accountability and allow all participants to cheer them on!

Finally, the winner, who will be selected by the participants, will receive a slew of fabulous prizes, not to mention the thrill of meeting his/her hair goals at the end of the year!
