What i love most about my hair is its resiliency and versatility. I can wear it curly, straight, rock my fro, or have coils or locs. I've worn it several different ways and it always bounces back for me.

I love my natural hair. It feels like a crown. I love the thick texture and my curls. ever since I started using all natural products and no chemicals- my hair loves me and is so much more alive. My hair is growing and flourishing.

Two years ago I cut off all my hair....and although I stopped with the the relaxers, and kertain; I continued to damage it with hair coloring and heat. I love the resilience and fight in my hair. I have been on chemotherapy on and off since I was 16 and no matter how many times I lose it or have to cut it off it comes back healthier and more beautifully and I appreciate it even more! I would absolutely love to try the Hair Essentials vitamins!

I am in love/recently infatuated with my hair because, now that I am truly giving it TLC, I can see its full potential. I love my hair. I recently learned that my hair has a personality of her own. One Girl Friends Dinner Night my girls told me that they can always tell how I'm feeling based on my hair. If I'm happy and confident I have a nice big Fro. If I'm tired it's in a messy bun, If I'm all business and focused it's in a nice flat twist hair style. And so On. I love how liberating it makes me feel and how it symbolizes my coming of age and acknowledgment of what it means to be a natural, beautiful woman of color. My hair is a crown, it is pride and heritage. Personally, it's a statement of my love for myself.

My hair is my crown no matter how it may be presented. What I love most about my hair is the many lessons it taught and continues to teach me. For a long time I was addicted to the creamy crack. I loved my hair to be straight, I was also into dying my hair heavily. In high school in went a bit to far with the bleaching process and completely ruined my hair. Between bleaching, perming, flat ironing and the blow dryer my hair was completely fried. I had no other choice but to chop it all off; but I was scared. My main thoughts were "I can't cut my hair off I'd be ugly without my hair," "what will people at school think!?," and "I'm sure I'm going to be laughed at and talked about." Despite the many thoughts racing through my head I only had two choices, walk around with brittle broken straw for hair that is as bright as the sun or cut it all off and start fresh and new with healthy hair. The answer was pretty obvious, especially after a teacher approached me and said "I think you should consider using oil for your hair, I'm sure it'll help with making it look less dry and damaged." After chopping my hair off, I looked in the mirror and to my surprise I was very excited and pleased with what I saw. I wasn't ugly, I didn't care what the other students would have thought and I noticed features about myself I previously overlooked because I hid behind my hair. I wasn't a complete natural right off the bar, but over time I've learned to be more gentle and caring towards my hair. So when asked what I love most about my hair, it's the many lessons it's taught me. Because of those lessons I can not only take better care of my hair, I can show the same amount of love and care towards my daughter's.

I love the thickness and fullness of my hair, although its not as long as i would like it to be since I've been natural all my life. i love its thickness. It never ceases to amaze me when i do twistouts.
