Today's Hair: Wash n Go
My hair was in need of some TLC this A.M. It was beyond frizzy and dry; I didn't have a lot of time to style my hair so I ended up doing a wash n go. Yes, I know its very cold in Maryland right now but I had no choice. I washed with Original Moxie's no foam shampoo (review coming soon) and I conditioned with the Strawberry Hisbiscus conditioner from the same line. LOVED the results. I then applied a good amount of knot today as my leave in and Donna Marie's Custard for hold and definition. Since this wash n go will only last me another day, I didn't bother "wasting" my amazing Moxie products on my hair. I need those to give you all a great review! :) See my results below. Shrinkage is the devil <--- LOL.

LOL about shrinkage, but that's so true though. I wore a wash n go today. Woke up too late to do anything with my hair. It shrank but it still looked hot:)
That's the only thing I dislike about a wash and go: shrinkage. I spoke with a friend of mine who has been natural for 10 years and she says...it's the same even with longer hair! It's the natural formation of the hair - it loves itself and want to be close!
Your hair is awesome (once again) lol I love the coils. I wore my hair in a messy bun...as I've been doing for the past month!:P
Do you finger coil parts of your hair when you wash-n-go? I always find myself digging in my hair and pulling out sections to twist...

Your hair looks gorgeous!!! I wore half a twist out with the sides pinned up...LOL Left the twists in the back & threw on a cute beanie.
Alex, how do you perfect your wash and goes? After you get out of the shower, how do you apply product without creating frizz?

@Chardae I apply the product in medium sections and use a denman brush to smooth the hair. My wash and go's never last though. LOL
Looks like that Donna Marie and Knot Today worked well together. Did you have white residue before it dried? I'm looking for something that I can literally wash and go instead of waiting for the white stuff to disappear.
Nope! No white residue. :)
